What does a marketing consultant actually do?
A good marketing consultant helps you build the strategy, identify the right channels, design the funnel, set up measurement, and execute (or guide your team to execute). At King Tide, we do all four - we don't stop at strategy.
What's the difference between a marketing consultant and a marketing coach?
A consultant typically advises. We go further - strategic consulting plus hands-on execution. We build the strategy, run the campaigns, and train your team to take over within 12-18 months.
How much does a marketing consultant cost in NZ?
Our pricing is transparent. Full Service Accelerator (done-for-you) is $5,000-$8,000/month. The AI Marketing Audit is a fixed $1,500. Individual services available on a project basis. No hourly billing, no surprise invoices.
How is this different from hiring a marketing manager?
A marketing manager is usually one person learning on your time. A marketing consultant is a senior team with proven frameworks and broader experience across industries. Plus we work inside your business but you don't carry the full salary, recruitment risk, or onboarding lag.
