Privacy Policy

Last updated: 15 July 2026

The short version: we collect only what you give us and standard site analytics, we use it to respond to you and improve the site, and we never sell it. The detail is below.

What we collect

When you fill in a form on this site (contact, quote, or newsletter), we collect the details you give us: typically your name, email address, phone number, and your message.

Like most websites, we also collect standard analytics data through Google Analytics: pages visited, approximate location, device type, and how you found us (for example, which search or campaign brought you here). This data is aggregated and doesn't personally identify you.

How we use it

We use your contact details to respond to your enquiry and, if you've subscribed, to send you our newsletter (The Impact Marketing Report). Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing is immediate.

We use analytics data to understand what content is useful and improve the site. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone.

Who else touches your data

We use a small number of service providers to run this site: Google Analytics (site analytics), our email delivery provider (sending enquiry notifications and newsletters), and our hosting provider. Each processes data only as needed to provide their service.

Cookies

This site uses cookies for analytics (Google Analytics) and to remember how you arrived at the site so we can attribute enquiries to the right marketing channel. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings without breaking the site.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to help you, and newsletter subscriptions until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained per Google Analytics' standard retention settings.

Your rights

Under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020, you have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, request a copy, and ask us to correct or delete it. Email us and we'll sort it promptly.

If you have a concern about how we've handled your information, contact us first and we'll do our best to fix it. You can also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner (privacy.org.nz).
